Welcome to Vuf World. These user terms apply to your creation and use of the Vuf World app and its related services. By creating an account and using the app, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully.

Vuf World is provided by Ringheim Create ApS, CVR no. 44059150, Strandvejen 29A, 3300 Frederiksværk (hereafter “Vuf World”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

1. About Vuf World

Vuf World is an app and platform for dog owners that brings together social features and practical tools for everyday life as a dog owner. Among other things, the app includes a social feed with profiles and a gallery, the ability to create walks, chat between users, and the arrangement of dog sitting.

The part of the app that relates to dog sitting – including booking and payment as well as signing up as a dog sitter – is covered by separate terms of trade, which are accepted separately. These user terms govern the general use of the app.

2. Creating an account and age requirements

To use the app you must create an account and provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your information current.

2.1 Age requirements

  • Dog owners must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian over 18 must create the account and be responsible for it.
  • Special requirements apply to signing up as a dog sitter, including that the account holder must be at least 18 years old. See the separate sitting terms of trade.

2.2 Your account

You are responsible for the actions carried out via your account and for protecting your login details. You must not let others use your account or use someone else's account without permission.

3. Good conduct in the app

Vuf World should be a safe and friendly community. By using the app, you agree to the following:

  • You treat other users with respect and do not engage in harassment, intimidation, discrimination or other offensive behaviour.
  • You do not upload or share content that is illegal, offensive, misleading, inappropriate or in breach of third-party rights.
  • You only share content you have the right to share, and you respect others' copyright and privacy.
  • You do not use the app for spam, fraud, marketing without consent or other unintended use.
  • You do not attempt to bypass the app's security, access data without permission or disrupt the operation of the service.

Violation of the above may result in removal of content as well as suspension or deactivation of your account, see section 7.

4. User content and rights

You retain the rights to the content you upload yourself (e.g. images and text). By sharing content in the app, you grant Vuf World a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and make the content available in the app, to the extent necessary to deliver the service.

Vuf World, including the app's name, logo, design and software, belongs to Ringheim Create ApS or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.

5. Personal data and privacy

We process your personal data as described in our privacy policy. Ringheim Create ApS is the data controller for the processing of personal data in connection with Vuf World. The privacy policy describes what information we collect and how it is processed.

6. Vuf World's role

Vuf World provides a platform that arranges contact between users and – for dog sitting – handles payment. Vuf World is not a party to the agreements made between users, including agreements about dog sitting. The detailed conditions for this are set out in the sitting terms of trade.

7. Suspension, deactivation and termination

We may suspend or deactivate an account in the event of a breach of these terms or behaviour that is harmful to other users, to dogs or to the service.

You may stop using the app at any time and request that your account be deactivated. For reasons of law and documentation (e.g. relating to bookings and payments), we may retain certain information even after an account is deactivated, to the extent the law requires or permits. An account is therefore deactivated, but not necessarily completely deleted.

8. Limitation of liability

The app is provided as is and as available. We strive for a stable and secure service, but cannot guarantee that the app is always free of errors or available without interruptions.

Vuf World is not responsible for users' conduct, content or mutual agreements, or for indirect losses, operating losses, consequential damages or other financial consequences arising from the use of the app. Special liability conditions for dog sitting are set out in the sitting terms of trade. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish law.

9. Changes to the terms

We may update these user terms, for example due to changes in the service or legislation. Significant changes will be announced in the app or by email. Your continued use of the app after a change is considered acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes will be settled by the Danish courts under Danish jurisdiction. The service is provided in Denmark.
